Patient Education

A range of diabetes management and nutrition instruction is offered by our Patient Education Services staff. Our staff includes Registered Dieticians, Registered Nurses and Diet Technicians. Many of our staff are Certified Diabetes Educators. Programs are developed depending on each person's needs and can address hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes or other health problems. If you have been referred to the Patient Education department, here are services you can expect:

Our Commitment

A range of diet instruction, including diabetic and lipid lowering diets, are offered by registered dietitians at many Advanced Healthcare locations. Diets are planned according to each person's nutritional needs or their history of diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol or other health problems. Special programs and support groups for diabetics and weight loss programs are also offered.
