In my conversations with patients, I emphasize that a healthy lifestyle can minimize the need for medications and help reduce stress-related problems. Simple things like attention to proper diet, exercise, adequate sleep and avoidance of tobacco and moderate alcohol consumption can make a big difference.
In 1988, I earned my M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. My Internal Medicine residency was completed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1991 and I became Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
I enjoy keeping abreast of the latest research in preventive health and sharing this information with my patients.
Away from the clinic, I like spending time with my family and friends.
