“I believe in engaging patients in their health care decisions. I enjoy educating and working with patients to help prevent disease and to optimally manage chronic disease.”
In 2000, I earned my medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. I then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine through Legacy Emanuel and Good Samaritan Hospitals in Portland, Ore.
I am board certified in internal medicine.
I take special interest in all aspects of general internal medicine, including diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. I especially enjoy preventive medicine nutrition and women’s health.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including camping, bicycling, swimming, cross-country skiing and yoga.
