“I want to take care of patients and keep them as well as possible, as long as possible. I want to take care of the whole person, not just isolated medical problems.”
In 1971, I earned my medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. I completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals in 1975. I also completed a residency in cardiovascular diseases through the University of Chicago Hospitals in 1977.
I am board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.
I take special interest in hypertension, lipid problems, diabetes and complex internal medicine.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, jazz piano and performing the best exercise program I am capable of doing.
