“The most important things about being a physician are open communication and educating patients regarding their individual care, needs and options. I believe my role is educator, facilitator and provider of quality care in a nurturing environment.”
In 1996, I received my medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. My internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology were completed at Southern Illinois University in Springfield. I am board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
I take special interest in general and high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, and urinary incontinence – evaluation, as well as both medical and surgical management.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and wonderfully active children. I also enjoy hiking, cooking, music and relaxing with a good book.
