I believe that trust and understanding between the patient and practitioner sets the primary foundation for a successful treatment environment.
In 1980, I earned my Ph.D. from Michigan State University. My Internship in Acupuncture was completed through the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 2003. I am licensed as an Acupuncturist by the state of Wisconsin. I am also a professor in the College of Human Services at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, where I primarily teach research courses.
I take special interest in pain management and wellness. I am most interested in working with patients to relieve pain symptoms to improve quality of life and to promote wellness by fortifying the immune system.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife, who is also a professor at UWM in Ergonomics, and my two sons. I am currently involved in consulting with universities in Lithuania and Italy in developing academic programs in physical rehabilitation.
