I earned my medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. My internal medicine residency was completed at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Ill. I have additional training, and completed my hematology and oncology fellowship, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

I am board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. As a cancer specialist, I know how important it is for my patients to understand their options, and I include patients and their loved ones in all treatment decisions.

Away from the clinic, I enjoy watching sports and music shows, traveling and visiting national parks.
