"My goal is to help the patient help themselves with diabetes education. I have been diabetic for over 35 years and have learned to live with the disease and not let it run my life. I feel diabetes education is key to successful outcomes."

I received my nursing degree from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. I also completed my bachelor’s degree in business from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

I am a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, the American Diabetes Association and the Southeastern Wisconsin Association of Diabetic Educators (SWADE).

Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog. We spend a lot of time outdoors swimming, boating, biking, fishing and walking.
