"My goal as a therapist is to provide the patient with a good understanding of his or her condition/dysfunction. A program is then developed to focus on the area, keeping in mind the patient’s personal goals and lifestyle. I feel it is important to address the patient as a whole, with an end result of the patient returning to optimal function."
In 1985, I received my bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Since then, I have attended continuing education courses in functional biomechanics and orthopaedics, both areas where I have a special interest.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes skiing, hiking and traveling.
