I like to teach the patient about the physiology of their condition - explaining the various treatment options and reasons for those treatments. When the patient is involved in the decision making, the outcome is always better.
In 1988 I received my M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Initially a Resident in Family Practice at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, I changed focus and completed my Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency through the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. I am Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
I spent 13 years in private practice before joining Aurora Advanced Healthcare. I have office hours at the Aurora Advanced Healthcare Women's Care Center in the Aurora Women's Pavilion.
I take special interest in menopause issues, abnormal PAP's, colposcopy, menstrual cycle issues, preventive care and pregnancy.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, reading, camping, needle crafts, gardening and ballroom dancing.
