My challenge is providing education, motivation and creative activities to assist patients in returning to function following upper extremity injuries.
In 1986, I earned my Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I also received a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics in 2005. In 1988, I was employed as a Rehabilitation Product Designer and Technical Consultant. In 1996, I returned to clinical healthcare in the area of hand therapy.
My special interests are upper extremity rehabilitation, splinting and ergonomics to prevent injuries.
Away from the office, I enjoy oil painting, skiing and golfing.
