The primary focus of my practice is bringing the latest treatment options to my patients. Expanding these options involves actively finding new, leading-edge technology. I also believe in more personal, less fragmented delivery of health care services.
In 1992, I received my M.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 1995 I completed my Residency in Internal Medicine through the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis. Additionally, in 1998 I completed a Cardiology Fellowship through the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City and in 1999 an Electrophysiology Fellowship through the Wisconsin Electrophysiology Group - Sinai Samaritan and St. Luke's Medical Center. I have also received awards for research and co-authored publications in major scientific journals. I am Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
I take special interest in keeping abreast with the most current technology for arrhythmia. I have also performed numerous catheter ablation for atrial fibrillations and have special expertise in autonomic nervous system disorders affecting the heart and blood pressure.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy tennis, biking, traveling and spending time with my family.
