“My goal as a physician is to be your advocate in understanding and treating your unique medical needs, by focusing on you as a “whole” person and implementing a medical plan that best suits your special circumstances.”
In 1991, I received my medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Massachusetts. I completed my residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to joining Aurora Advanced Healthcare, I worked as an attending physician in Long Island, N.Y. Before that, I was an assistant professor of medicine at the State University in New York at Buffalo where I was involved in residency training and had private clinic hours. I am board certified in internal medicine.
I believe that our focus in medicine is changing. Previously we concentrated on treating medical diseases. However, now we are trying to prevent disease from ever occuring by doing early cancer, cardiac and diabetic screening. I am interested in educating and treating the whole patient. Preventive medicine is always the best medicine, but if a medical problem should arise, then we will deal with it as a team.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking, swimming, sculpting and painting.
