“I respond with excellent service, respect, care and compassion.”
I earned my undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. As an undergraduate, I had an internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., working in a nephrology lab. At Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., I completed my master’s in physician assistant studies. I am board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Within general surgery, I specialize in vascular and bariatric procedures. I work closely with Zane Prewitt, MD, a general surgeon who specializes in bariatric procedures. We are part of the Aurora Sinai Medical Center’s Bariatric Surgery Program team.
My particular area of interest focuses on patient education regarding specific bariatric procedures and how weight loss can be most successfully achieved through lifestyle changes. I enjoy counseling patients through this extensive process to help them find their own personal success.
During my free time, I have a variety of interests including, traveling, ballroom dancing, gardening, scrapbooking, reading and cooking.
