I believe that open communication and a trusting relationship between patient and physician are crucial to quality health care. I encourage patients to take an active role in decision making process about their ongoing care. I also believe in providing adequate time to answer my patients questions and discuss their health concerns.
I earned my M.D. in 1990 from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, where I also completed my post-graduate internship. I completed my Psychiatric and Internal Medicine internship and Internal Medicine residency through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee. I am also Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Prior to joining Advanced Healthcare, I was in a private practice for more than 4 years in the metro Milwaukee area.
Professionally, I take special interest in preventive medicine, women's health, and psychiatric illnesses. I am also fluent in Tagalog (Filipino).
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children, traveling, sewing and gardening.
