Pediatrics
As a pediatrician, I believe in partnering with parents and working together with them to provide high quality, comprehensive care to children from birth through adolescence. I place particular emphasis on patient and parent education and strive to create an environment where patients and families feel comfortable not only with well-child care but also in times of illness.
In 1991, I earned my M.D. from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. My Internship and Residency in Pediatrics were completed through Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. I am Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
I take a special interest in children with endocrine disorders, childhood obesity and diabetes.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, scrap booking and watching tennis
