“I believe modern medicine is best practiced as the cooperation of patient and physician in arriving at a diagnosis and then together establishing a treatment plan.”
In 1985, I received my medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. I then completed a surgical internship and orthopaedic residency from the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
I am board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
I take special interest in general orthopedics, with special expertise in joint repair, joint replacement and arthroscopy. I also stay active in hospital quality assurance and medical staff performance improvement. I was elected President of the medical staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and as Chief of Orthopaedics at both Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and Aurora West Allis Medical Center.
Away from the clinic, I enjoy camping, fishing, hockey, jogging, home maintenance, reading, sports events and concerts.
